We offer curbside pickups for some residential areas provided there is good access for a large freight truck and all boxes are packed and ready for export.

We are pleased to offer curbside pickups for select residential areas, subject to certain requirements and considerations, to facilitate your overseas moving needs.

Please note that our curbside pickup service is designed to provide convenience for smaller moves, allowing you to prepare your items for export and have them collected from your residential location. For larger or more complex moves, we encourage you to consult with our team to explore suitable options and tailor a comprehensive moving plan that meets your specific requirements.

Please take note of the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and efficient pickup process:

1. Pack and Secure your Boxes:
   • Ensure all items are securely packed inside sturdy boxes.
   • Use appropriate packing materials such as bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or foam inserts to protect fragile items.
   • Fill any empty spaces in the boxes to minimize movement during transit. This is important because it may make the pallet tilt if boxes are only packed halfway and damage boxes and items.
   • Seal each box securely using high-quality packaging tape.
2. Labeling and Documentation:
   • Clearly label each box with the recipient's name, address, and contact details (phone number and email).
   • Attach a copy of the Bill of lading shipping label to the outside of each box. We will provide the BL by email before pick up. 
   • Print 2 extra copies of Bill of lading for you and driver to sign. The driver will also provide you with pro number when he picks up shipment.
3. Consolidation:
   • If you have multiple boxes, consolidate them into a single shipment if possible.
   • Ensure all boxes are clearly marked with the total number of boxes in the shipment (e.g., "Box 1 of 3," "Box 2 of 3," etc.).
4. Schedule the Pickup:
   • Contact our East Coast Shipping customer service team to confirm pick up date.
   • Pickups with freight companies are done 12-5pm window, pick a day you are available for this time frame and try not to plan a day before a flight in case any issues with driver missing appointments.
5. Prepare for the Pickup:
   • Ensure the boxes are easily accessible from the curbside for the freight truck to load.
   • Clear any obstacles or hindrances that may impede the pickup process.
   • If applicable, obtain any necessary permits or parking arrangements to accommodate the freight truck.
6. Stay Ready for Communication:
   • Keep your phone nearby during the pickup window to facilitate any communication with the freight driver or our customer service team.
   • Be prepared to provide additional information or instructions if requested by the driver.
7. Inspection and Handover:
   • When the freight truck arrives, greet the driver and guide them to the boxes.
   • The driver may inspect the shipment for compliance with packaging requirements and documentation.
   • Once satisfied, hand over the boxes to the driver for loading onto the truck.
   • Collect any necessary receipts or confirmation of pickup from the driver.
