Denmark is part of the EU, and customs clearance is typically smooth, provided your documents are in order.
To qualify for duty-free import:
• You must have lived outside the EU for 12+ months
• Goods must be used and for personal use
• Must be imported within 12 months of establishing residency
• Cannot be sold for 12 months after import

You can import a vehicle to Denmark, but be aware of high registration taxes (up to 150%+ of value).

Note: Most expats sell their cars before relocating due to Denmark’s vehicle registration tax (Reg. Afgift), unless they qualify for tax exemptions as diplomats or under transfer
