Moving to the Netherlands – International Relocation Services
At East Coast Shipping, we specialize in helping individuals and families relocate to the Netherlands with ease. Whether you're moving to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, or anywhere else in the country, we offer a full range of international moving services tailored to your needs.
1. Door-to-Door Shipping We provide complete door-to-door relocation, which includes pick-up from your home, export documentation, ocean freight, customs clearance, and delivery to your new residence in the Netherlands.
2. Groupage (Shared Container) Shipping We operate regular groupage services to the Netherlands from the U.S. This is a cost-effective option if you don’t need a full container. Your goods are consolidated with other shipments heading in the same direction. Our groupage containers are routed via the Netherlands and then trucked to your final destination if needed.
3. Full Container Load (FCL) Choose between 20ft or 40ft shipping containers for a dedicated international move. Ideal for larger households or customers with furniture, boxes, bikes, and vehicles.
4. Less than Container Load (LCL) For smaller shipments, we offer LCL options where your packed items are crated or palletized and shipped alongside other freight in a consolidated container.
5. Packing & Export Wrapping We provide professional packing and export wrapping for fragile and high-value items. We also offer self-pack options if you prefer to pack your belongings yourself.
6. Auto Shipping We can ship your vehicle to the Netherlands via container, either as part of your household move or on its own. We’ll assist with customs paperwork and import regulations.
7. Customs Clearance in the Netherlands We work with trusted local agents in the Netherlands to manage the customs process, ensuring your shipment clears smoothly and without delays.
8. Delivery and Unloading Standard delivery services include unloading into your home, basic furniture assembly (attaching legs to beds or tables), and removal of packing debris. Optional services include unpacking and full setup.
